School of Biological Sciences/Institute of Marine Sciences
Brendonn is a senior lecturer at the University fo Auckland where he researches and teach marine biology. His research looks at the limits to which life can be pushed and, perhaps more importantly, recover from disturbance. This matters as we face a changing climate and have more people on this planet needing to be fed. I primarily work on things that move (tītī/seabirds) and things that sit still (mussels, oysters) from ecological, economic and cultural perspectives in an effort to reduce the increasing strain on these natural resources.
