This ara (pathway) incorporates strong areas of indigenous innovation, health and social wellbeing and indigenous knowledge. All activities within this theme are powered up through actively sharing and planning future pathways. Key kaupapa and outcomes of this ara will be formed around; 

  • Supporting engagement in research across Housing Sector forums for the iwi.
  • Promoting innovation and balanced approaches to addressing social, economic, and environmental influences in policy domains. 
  • Promote shared services for administration and management 
  • Increased capacity and capability for ongoing research and development 
  • Feasibility work, studies and grants to support specific short term and long term development 
  • A strong alignment to the strategic objectives of a range of sectors and funders.
