Te Ara Whānui is led by Tammy Tauroa (Ngāti Kuri) who works alongside both research and support staff. The Centre will be guided by our Kaumātua, the Ngāti Kuri Trust Board and our two marae; Waiora and Te Hiku o te Ika. Each entity plays an important role in ensuring that the Centre is positioned to not only meet the needs and aspirations of our own hapū, iwi, marae and community but stands to flourish on the dreams our tūpuna left for us to realise.
